We hope that you will enjoy using the site and will help to make it a fun and a safe place for other children to visit.

Staying safe on line

Here are some things that will help you to have a good time on fun4ponies and stay safe online.

Now that you have joined as a fun4ponies member, you can post messages in ponytales, the online pony forum, and also send or receive private messages from other fun4ponies members.

We have adults (we call them moderators) who check all the posts to make sure that there is nothing rude or nasty in any of them. Sometimes we might miss something, so there is an ‘alert’ button by every entry. You can click on this to tell us if there is something that you don’t like. We can delete posts which break our ‘house rules’ and even stop someone from making any more entries.

We are also able to check the private messages. If you receive a message from one of the other fun4ponies members that makes you feel unhappy or uncomfortable please tell us (or an adult you know) straightaway.

Please do not put your real name, school, home address, email address or any telephone numbers in your posts in the online pony forum. We will remove things that could be used by someone to work out who you are and where you live.

Sometimes there can be people on the internet who pretend to be someone else.
NEVER agree to meet anyone you only know through the internet.

You can spend as much time on fun4ponies as you like. You can visit every day if you want to, write your own pony stories or just call in to read Spott’s Pony Blog!

Your photos in the gallery
You can set up your own photo albums for your pony pics (not just one but more if you like). There’s space for you to write a caption for your pony photos and other fun4ponies members can make comments too.

Pony Stories & Pony Poems
There are a couple of pony stories (Green Wheat Farm is one) where fun4ponies members write a little bit and then other people add to the story. That’s great fun ‘cos you don’t know how the story will end!

If you want to, you can write your own Pony Story and put that in ponytales (fun4ponies online pony forum) for other fun4ponies members to read.

Start a Pony BLOG!
This is a place where you can write all about the ponies you know. No-one else can add comments, it’s all yours! You can even add photos of the ponies to your Pony Blog (but they need to be in your photo album first).

WIN
We sometimes have competitions for fun4ponies members. You may need to give us your address if you enter competitions so that we can send you a prize if you win.

What if I can’t do something?
If you have any questions or find that you can’t do something, just put a message in the ‘Help’ part of Ponytales. Rob will reply as soon as he can. He’s our techy guy and is great at explaining how to do things.
