Fun4ponies.com respects the privacy and security of its members and is committed to providing a fun and safe learning website for children aged 8+. 

Personal Information
To help you to stay safer online, we only collect as much personal information as we need to provide you with the fun4ponies.com service.

We may collect information such as your email address, year of birth, town and country and personal interests when you:
register as a member
ask us a question
make a purchase from us
enter one of our competitions.

Members have a ‘user profile’ within ponytales which can be seen by other fun4ponies.com members.  The general public are not able to see these profiles.
Members are able to write as much or as little in their own profile as they choose.

Within ponytales it is possible for you to opt into or out of receiving updates to threads, newsletters and other emailed communication.  You can opt in or out of these at anytime by going into ponytales and clicking on the ‘my info’ button.

Fun4ponies will not pass on your personal details to any third party, including sponsors or advertisers.

Other Information
We collect some non personal information such as IP addresses.  We collect data about members and visitors to the site such as the pages they look at and the amount of time they spend on the site so that we can:
Manage the site
Analyse the way the site is being used
Improve the service we provide to you
Attract sponsors or advertisers

Posts, Photos and other submissions
If you voluntarily disclose personal information within ponytales or any of the other public areas of the site, it could be used by others to contact you and could cause you to receive spam or other unsolicited messages.
We actively discourage the disclosure of personal information such as email addresses or the school you attend in the submissions that you make to the site. 

Our policy is to delete any personal information from posts if we believe that it could be used as a way of identifying you.

We have adult moderators who check all the posts made in ponytales after they have been posted.  Our moderators have been CRB checked and are trained in moderating techniques.  They will remove posts that do not comply with our ‘house rules’, list email addresses or other personal information.  Private messages sent by members using the private messaging service are sampled by our moderators but not all messages are checked. 

Children 12 years old or under
The fun4ponies.com site is aimed at young children and we want to do all we can to keep young children safe.
We ask that all children obtain the consent of a parent / carer or guardian before they register as a member of fun4ponies.com.

Staying safe on line
We will provide information frequently about how to stay safe on line and will provide links to appropriate, approved safe surfing websites so that children can be empowered to make decisions about safety for themselves.

Parents can contact us at any time if they concerned about their child’s activities on the site.

Links to other sites
Fun4ponies.com provides links to external websites for example to give information, to link to associated pony games, to promote sponsors or advertisers or to sell goods.
We take steps to ensure that these third party sites are suitable for our members but we are unable to guarantee or control the content or privacy policies of these third parties.

Advertising and sponsorship
We accept equestrian related Google ads and offer equestrian ebay items in our shop.  We may increase the amount of sponsorship and advertising which appears on the site if we believe that it will be relevant to our members.

How do we store your information?
We take great care of the information that we collect from you but we cannot guarantee that it will remain secure.  The general public do not have access to our offices or to the information you provide to us.

Unsubscribe
If you decide that you no longer wish to subscribe, you can cancel your registration at any time.  If you wish to unsubscribe from threads within the forum, you can do so at any time by clicking on the ‘unsubscribe’ link within the email that we send you to update you on a new post.

Changes to this policy
We may make changes to this policy at any time and will post any changes on the fun4ponies.com website.  Please check this page occasionally to view our most recent privacy policy.
